What is Cape Community Coalition?
Who are we?: Cape Community Coalition (CCC) is a network of civic and community organizations in the area served by the Cape Henlopen School District in Sussex County, Delaware. Initially focused on coordinating our local response to the COVID-19 virus, the Coalition has evolved to support ongoing community needs and emergency preparedness beyond the pandemic.
Partners include city officials, state agencies, chambers of commerce, faith communities, educators, healthcare providers, public libraries, and nonprofit organizations.
What are we doing? Our primary role is to connect the nonprofit, faith, civic, business, and social service aspects of our area so that we can communicate and effectively coordinate resources to build community resilience.
As the virus and its effects have evolved, we have too.
By bringing these groups together, we have a better chance of keeping our community healthy and whole - in body, mind, and spirit - during the pandemic and in the days to come.
